"Józef Czapski", translated into Portuguese
Back in June 2021, José Carlos Costa Marques translated & published a few of my poems in his longstanding journal, DiVersos. This is one of them – a poem fictionalizing the actual, & fascinating, literary connection between Józef Czapski & Marcel Proust. It was translated by Susan Brown and Claudia Fischer. I am so grateful to them, and to José Carlos.
A few years ago I read Czapski's biography. Thanks for the memory. These imagined possible meetings are intriguing. What is time ... and the spaces we share? And congrats on the translation of a good poem :-)
